Locally
We seek to serve our community by being a blessing to others with a “no strings attached” approach. Our goal is two-fold. On one hand, it is to be a reflection of the authentic change that Jesus has made in our own lives by offering help to others. On the other, our goal is to be a place where people can find hope and forgiveness. For 2010, we offered three weeks of summer camp and a Vacation Bible School. We also had several community-wide events as well as concerts, nights of worship, movie reviews, and date nights for parents. We will continue to host these events in 2011 as well!
Globally
The Dwelling Place supports missionaries in South Africa and China. We sent a team to Bangladesh in the summer of 2010 to engage villagers who had never heard the gospel and shared with them the good news of Jesus Christ. We are very open to other opportunities around the world where God would lead us to be His hands and feet.
