Favorite Verse: "16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17

Brooke Grimes

Children’s Director

Brooke has been on staff with TDP since March 2020 and has been teaching in the children’s ministry since 2008. Brooke feels called to work with children and equip them with the Word of God, which is the sword of the spirit, so they will rise up as the next generation of Christians. “Being a light to children is what God wants. When they feel that love and acceptance they draw near to God. The goal is for them too highly esteem the word of God so we can have Christ like children who grow into Christ like adults. God gave me the gift of teaching children and relating to them. It is my job as his servant to use my talent and not to bury it.” Brooke is married to her husband Steve and has two daughters, Bethany and Trinity.

Favorite Verse: “1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalms 91:1

Alice Davidson

Preschool Director

Alice Barbara Simon Davidson was born and raised in Haiti. She came to the US eight years ago and ended up in Texas to complete her education. In  April 2020  she married Brandon Davidson and 8 months later she graduated from Scarborough College at Southwestern with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies. Since the age of 15,  Alice has worked with children in Sunday School and even created a children's club at her church in Haiti. This club was birthed from her desire to teach children the Word of God in an environment that offered love and acceptance not present in their non-Christian home where life for them was a struggle. Alice knew God called  her and placed a heart for children within her from an early age. One of Alice’s convictions about children is that they are the next leaders of our world which makes it vital for them to be firmly grounded in the teachings of Christ.  While Alice's heart is for ministry to children, she also enjoys teaching Zumba and dancing.

Favorite Verse: “ For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8: 38-39
